About us

dobladanza was born in 2019 in Malaga, Spain, under the direction of Marta Guerra Doblas as a space for emerging performers and creators to work collectivelly and research the interests and ideas of a new generation of creatives in the dance field with a transdisciplinary and collaborative approach. Dobladanza aims to break the elitistic barriers of the dance industry by telling stories of general interest and allowing audiences to be part of their creative processes. Dobladanza values and promotes the integration of different bodies, genders, abilities, backgrounds and cultures in order to find a universal way of moving and to celebrate diversity and variety. Because of this, dobladanza is formed by a mainly international and queer creative team based in London.
